A 5-day holiday based at a 5-star resort near Majorda beach in South Goa, such as Alila Diwa Goa, away from the crowds of the north. Two days include private sightseeing by Innova Crysta: Cabo de Rama fort and Palolem beach in the south, and the churches of Old Goa and the Latin Quarter of Panjim. The other days are kept free for the beach, the pool and the spa.

Day-by-day itinerary
Arrive Goa · resort in South Goa — Your chauffeur meets you at Goa's Dabolim airport (about 15 km, 25–30 minutes to Majorda) or at Mopa airport in the north (about 90 km, 2–2.5 hours; transfer supplement applies). Check in at the resort and spend the rest of the day settling in. Majorda beach is a few minutes away, good for an evening walk at sunset. Dinner is at your own choice and cost.
South Goa drive · Cabo de Rama and Palolem — After breakfast, drive south (about 45 km, 1–1.25 hours) to Cabo de Rama, an old fort on the cliffs with a small church and views over the Arabian Sea. Continue to Palolem beach (about 25 km more), a curved bay lined with palms, where you can have lunch at a beach cafe and take an optional dolphin-spotting boat trip (paid locally). Return to the resort by late afternoon.
Old Goa churches and Panjim's Latin Quarter — After breakfast, drive to Old Goa (about 35 km, 50 minutes) to see the Basilica of Bom Jesus, which holds the remains of St. Francis Xavier, and the Se Cathedral across the road; both are part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and modest clothing is expected. A free day at the resort — A day with no plans: swim, read by the infinity pool, walk on Majorda beach or book a treatment at the resort spa (at extra cost). Water sports such as parasailing and jet-ski rides are available at nearby Colva and Benaulim beaches and are paid locally. In the evening, you could try Goan seafood or vegetarian thalis at the resort or a beach shack nearby.
Departure from Goa — After breakfast, check out (usually by 12 noon) and drive to Dabolim airport (about 30 minutes) or Mopa airport (about 2–2.5 hours) for your flight home. For Mopa, leave the resort at least 4.5 hours before your flight.

Visa & entry
No visa needed. Carry a government photo ID (Aadhaar, passport, driving licence or voter ID) for every traveller; the resort asks for it at check-in.
Good to know
South Goa beaches are quieter than the north; nightlife is limited, which suits couples and families looking for rest.
Beachfront stays at Taj Exotica Resort & Spa or The Leela Goa are available as an upgrade on request.
Swim only in flagged areas with lifeguards; currents can be strong, especially before November and after April.
Churches and temples expect covered shoulders and knees; carry a stole or light shirt on sightseeing days.
Goa has two airports. Dabolim is much closer to South Goa; check which one your flight uses before booking.
Hotel names are 'or similar'. If the resort is full, we offer a comparable 5★ resort in South Goa before you pay.
Questions travellers ask
Why South Goa instead of North Goa?
South Goa has cleaner, quieter beaches and several large 5-star resorts. North Goa is busier, with more nightlife. You still see Old Goa and Panjim on Day 3.
Is the resort on the beach?
Alila Diwa is set among paddy fields a few minutes from Majorda beach, and the resort runs a shuttle to the beach. If you want a resort right on the sand, Taj Exotica or The Leela can be booked as an upgrade.
Can we upgrade to a bigger room or villa?
Yes. Higher room categories are available at a supplement; tell us when booking and we will quote the difference.
Is vegetarian food available?
Yes. The resort restaurants serve plenty of vegetarian Indian food, and Goa has many vegetarian restaurants as well.
Does the price include flights?
No. The trip starts and ends at Goa airport. We can quote flights from Vijayawada or Hyderabad separately.
