Six days in Mauritius at a 5-star beach resort on Belle Mare, such as Long Beach, with breakfast and dinner every day. Arrive Mauritius · Belle Mare — Our driver meets you at Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport and drives you to Belle Mare on the east coast, about 50–60 minutes. Check in to your Junior Suite, usually from 2 pm. Belle Mare has one of the island's longest white-sand beaches and a calm lagoon protected by the reef. Dinner is at the resort.
Beach day at the resort — A free day at the resort. Non-motorised water sports such as kayaking, paddleboarding, snorkelling and glass-bottom boat rides are usually included at this resort; we confirm for your booking. You can also use the pools and the gym, or book a spa treatment at extra cost. Dinner is at the resort.
Private speedboat to Ile aux Cerfs — After breakfast, a short drive of about 15 minutes takes you to Trou d'Eau Douce, where your private speedboat waits. The boat first runs up the river to the Grande Rivière Sud-Est waterfall, then crosses the lagoon to Ile aux Cerfs, an island with white beaches and shallow turquoise water. Private south tour · Grand Bassin and Chamarel — After breakfast, a private car and driver take you across the island, about 1.5 hours, to Grand Bassin (Ganga Talao), a crater lake sacred to Mauritian Hindus, with a large Shiva statue at the entrance; dress modestly and remove footwear at the shrines. Free day — A free day at the resort or for optional extras, such as a catamaran cruise, dolphin watching on the west coast, a round of golf at a nearby course, or shopping at Port Louis Caudan Waterfront. We can arrange a private car for any of these at extra cost. Dinner is at the resort.
Departure from Mauritius — After breakfast, check out; check-out is usually at noon. Our driver takes you to the airport, about 50–60 minutes. Reach the airport 3 hours before your flight.

Visa & entry
Indian passport holders do not need a visa in advance for a holiday in Mauritius. A free entry permit is given on arrival by immigration, and the length of stay allowed is well beyond this trip. Carry a passport valid for your whole stay (we recommend at least 6 months), your confirmed return ticket, your hotel booking and proof of funds, as the officer may ask for them. Before your flight, fill in the free All-in-One Travel Digital Form at safemauritius.govmu.org and keep the QR code ready on arrival.
Good to know
Since 1 October 2025, hotels collect a tourist fee of €3 per person per night from guests aged 12 and above.
Mauritius has a large Indian-origin community, including a long-established Telugu community. Vegetarian food and Hindu temples are easy to find.
Wear modest clothing at Grand Bassin and remove footwear at the shrines.
January–March is cyclone season; boat trips can be moved at short notice if the weather turns.
The local currency is the Mauritian rupee (MUR); Indian rupees are not accepted. Carry some USD or EUR to exchange.
Vehicles drive on the left. The south tour has about 3 hours of driving in total, with stops.

Is the boat to Ile aux Cerfs private?
Yes. The speedboat is private for your group. The island itself, the beaches and the lunch restaurant are shared with other visitors.
Are drinks included with dinner?
No. Half board covers breakfast and dinner; drinks are extra. We can quote an all-inclusive upgrade.
Is this good for families?
Yes. The resort welcomes children and has a kids' club. Children's rates depend on age; ask us.
Do Indians need a visa?
No advance visa is needed. A free entry permit is given on arrival. Fill in the All-in-One Travel Digital Form before your flight.
Can we see the north of the island too?
Yes. A private north tour with Port Louis, Pamplemousses Garden and Grand Baie can replace the free day for an extra cost.
