Day-by-day itinerary
Arrive Jaipur · check in and evening at leisure — Your chauffeur meets you at Jaipur International Airport (or Jaipur railway station) and drives you to your hotel (about 30–40 minutes). After check-in, the rest of the day is yours to rest after the journey. In the evening, you can visit the lit-up facade of Hawa Mahal or try Rajasthani food such as dal-baati-churma at the hotel; dinner is at your own choice and cost. Jaipur, the 'Pink City',…
Jaipur with a private guide · Amber Fort and the old city — After breakfast, your private guide takes you to Amber Fort (about 11 km, 30 minutes), best seen in the morning before the crowds; entry tickets are paid on the spot. On the way back, stop at Jal Mahal for photos, then visit the City Palace, the Jantar Mantar observatory (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) and the facade of Hawa Mahal. In the late afternoon, the guide leads a walk through the…
Jaipur to Jodhpur · the Blue City — After breakfast, drive to Jodhpur (about 340 km, 6–6.5 hours with breaks) on the highway via Ajmer and Beawar. Check in at your hotel and relax by the pool. In the evening, you can see Umaid Bhawan Palace, built between 1929 and 1943 and still partly the royal family's home; its museum wing is open to visitors (ticket paid locally; it usually closes around 5 pm, so this may suit Day 4 better).
Jodhpur with a private guide · Mehrangarh and the blue city — After breakfast, your private guide takes you up to Mehrangarh Fort, which rises about 120 metres above the city; entry and audio-guide tickets are paid locally, and a lift saves the steepest climb. Continue to Jaswant Thada, the white marble memorial nearby. In the afternoon, walk through the old city around the Clock Tower and Sardar Market and into the blue-painted lanes of Navchokiya. Return…
Jodhpur to Udaipur via Ranakpur · the lake city — After breakfast, drive towards Udaipur (about 250 km, 6 hours including the stop). Around midday, stop at the Ranakpur Jain temple, known for its 1,444 carved marble pillars; it is usually open to non-Jain visitors from about noon to 5 pm, shoulders and knees must be covered, and leather items are not allowed inside. Continue through the Aravalli hills to Udaipur and check in at your hotel on…
Udaipur with a private guide · City Palace and the ghats — After breakfast, your private guide takes you through the City Palace complex on the eastern shore of Lake Pichola (entry tickets paid locally), followed by the Jagdish Temple and the garden of Saheliyon ki Bari. In the afternoon, walk the old-city lanes to Gangaur Ghat and Bagore ki Haveli. A sunset boat ride on Lake Pichola, which passes the Taj Lake Palace and Jag Mandir, and the evening…
Departure from Udaipur — After breakfast, check out (usually by 12 noon) and drive to Maharana Pratap Airport, Udaipur (about 25 km, 45 minutes) for your flight home. If your flight is late in the day, you can visit the Vintage Car Museum or shop for miniature paintings in the old city first.

Good to know
October–March days are pleasant (about 22–30 °C) but nights in Jaipur and Jodhpur can drop to 8–12 °C in December–January, so pack a light jacket.
Palace-hotel stays at Rambagh Palace, Umaid Bhawan Palace and Taj Lake Palace are available as an upgrade on request.
At Ranakpur and other Jain temples, cover shoulders and knees and leave leather belts, wallets and bags in the car.
Most monuments charge separate entry and camera fees; keep some cash, though UPI and cards work at most ticket counters.
The two long drives (Jaipur–Jodhpur and Jodhpur–Udaipur) take about 6 hours each; we plan tea and lunch breaks on the way.
Hotel names are 'or similar'. If a hotel is full on your dates, we offer a comparable 5★ hotel before you pay.
Questions travellers ask
Are we guaranteed these exact hotels?
We request ITC Rajputana, Taj Hari Mahal and Trident Udaipur first. If one is sold out on your dates, we offer a comparable 5-star hotel in that city and confirm everything in writing before you pay.
Can we stay in a real palace?
Yes. Rambagh Palace, Umaid Bhawan Palace and Taj Lake Palace can be booked as an upgrade for one or more nights; we will quote the difference for your dates.
Can we get a Telugu-speaking guide?
Licensed guides in Rajasthan speak English and Hindi. Telugu-speaking guides are rare, but we can request one; if none is available, the guide will speak simple English or Hindi.
Can vegetarian and Jain food be arranged?
Yes. All three hotels serve vegetarian Indian food, and Jain meals can be prepared if you tell us when booking.
Does the price include flights?
No. The trip starts at Jaipur and ends at Udaipur. We can quote flights from Vijayawada or Hyderabad separately.
