Visa & entry
No visa is needed for tourism. Indian passport holders get visa-free entry for up to 30 days per visit (reduced from 60 days with effect from 15 September 2026). Before travel, fill in the free Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) online at tdac.immigration.go.th within 72 hours before arrival. Carry a passport valid for at least 6 months, your return ticket and hotel booking; immigration may ask for proof of funds (about THB 10,000 per person or THB 20,000 per family).
Good to know
Grand Palace dress code: shoulders and knees must be covered for both men and women; no shorts, sleeveless tops, short skirts or tight or see-through clothing. Remove footwear inside temple halls.
Pattaya, Bangkok and Phuket all have Indian restaurants, including pure vegetarian ones. Tell us in advance if you need vegetarian lunch on the Phi Phi trip.
Low-cost domestic fares may include only a cabin bag; check-in baggage is as per the fare booked, so tell us your luggage needs (especially after Bangkok shopping) before we book.
Use reef-safe sunscreen on the island trips; sunscreens with oxybenzone and similar chemicals are banned in Thai marine parks.
Speedboat rides can be bumpy. They are not advised for pregnant women or people with back problems, and motion-sickness tablets help.
The currency is the Thai baht (THB). Cards work in hotels and malls; carry cash for markets, taxis, water sports and tips.
Questions travellers ask
Do Indians need a visa for Thailand?
No. Indian tourists can stay visa-free for up to 30 days. You must fill in the free Thailand Digital Arrival Card online within 72 hours before you land.
Are flights included?
The Bangkok to Phuket domestic flight is included. International flights are not; you fly into Bangkok and home from Phuket, and we can book these for you separately.
Is Pattaya suitable for families?
Yes, if you plan your evenings. Coral Island, Nong Nooch and the Alcazar show are family-friendly. Walking Street is a nightlife area that most families skip.
Are the boat trips safe for children and senior citizens?
Yes, with care. Boats carry life jackets and the crew helps at every stop. Rides can be bumpy in rough seas, so tell us about any back or health issues and we will advise.
Will we get vegetarian food?
Yes. Hotel breakfasts have vegetarian options, the Phi Phi lunch buffet has vegetarian dishes, and all three places have Indian vegetarian restaurants.
