Good to know

Questions travellers ask

Which aarti is better, Haridwar or Rishikesh?

Har Ki Pauri in Haridwar is larger and more crowded, with the famous lamps reflected in the river. Triveni Ghat and Parmarth Niketan in Rishikesh are calmer and more devotional. This trip includes both.

Can we start from Dehradun instead of Delhi?

Yes. Dehradun airport (Jolly Grant) is about 35 km from Haridwar and 20 km from Rishikesh. Starting there saves the long Delhi drives and usually lowers the price. Ask us for a Dehradun quote.

Can we add Kedarnath or Badrinath?

Yes, between May and October or early November, when the temples are open. Our Kedarnath & Badrinath Do Dham Yatra starts from Haridwar, and we can join the two.

Is Neelkanth Mahadev suitable for senior citizens?

Yes. The road goes almost to the temple, followed by a short walk with some steps. The road is winding, so carry motion-sickness tablets if needed.
